There are plenty who share that sentiment. While I will not link you to any info, as that's against the rules, there is a Bannerlord Co-op mod in development. Though last I checked, it is not playable.

This is very likely related to the Taleworlds update from yesterday. I recommend verifying your game files through Steam. It may also be a bug on BOs end after their patch, but I haven't seen any messages about village crashes.

After you finish a battle, there's a temporary protection (30 seconds) from all battles (PvP & PvE). You should be able to check the loot and choose what you want within that time frame.

This is a common strategy for certain clans in BO. They can only declare a certain amount of wars, depending on their clan level. So they instantly offer peace so they have more war slots to gank other clans. Hopefully future updates will make them focus on other things instead.
