Unable to make a character

join the server button does not work, and im otherwise unable to do anything to make a character, any advice?

This happens to me regularly. Solved by restarting the game.

already tried that, on top of reinstalling both the game and mod

still having this issue, would it be possible to have a dev make a character for me? hopefully this would let me play.

A lot of time has passed since that day. Updated and the main game itself and the mod.
Now the game version is: 97.3/e1.7.1.309490
