New guy! Love this game. Not even 2 weeks in and 1 thing is pushing me out already.

Folks I love brutal games. The combat being hard is awesome. I hated the first few days. Now 2 weeks in im at 65 troops and love this game. However, daily, I running into a problem that makes me realize my time is already coming to an abrupt end. I simply can not spend 3-5 minutes chasing looters down. Yes I know you can trap them but still takes to long. Now at 65 troops every stack north of the desert runs from me. My max speed is 2.4 with 5/220 weight. After killing 2 or 3 stacks im down to 2.1 and bandits are now uncatchable.

Are there ways to get faster on the online version other than killing off your troops? Otherwise im out after just 2 weeks. The amount of grinding needed = way way to much wasted time chasing looters moving slower than walking.

With the clan update (Only God knows when), there will be some characters which will have different benefits, one of them will have speed bonus. This is from the only one news about it.
