Work on improved synchronisation in combat is in progress:
- We've finished synchronisation of melee weapons.
We fixed incorrect display of direction of attack and block from different players.
We also adjusted the displayed hit speed of other players to compensate for ping-related delays.
This should significantly improve the quality of battles, both in the arena and in other battles with other players.
- Started working on better synchronisation of ranged weapons.
- We are experimenting with synchronization of new spear mode.
- Working on better synchronization of player and horse position on the battlefield.
- We are in process of adding charge damage.
- We are working on adding proxy server support to reduce pings from some countries to EU and CN servers. Now we are testing proxy servers in Turkey. These servers will reduce the ping significantly in some cases which will also have a positive effect on the quality of the game.
The completion of improved synchronization will allow us to add new modes, both Coop and PvP. Improved Sync will be available in the next 1-2 weeks and will be the last significant update before the Economic Update is released.
