The forums and game launcher use the same account. You should be able to login with the same username and password on both. If it keeps saying it's invalid, true changing your password here on the forums to see if it helps.

This seems to be a problem in the last week or so. It's a regional sort of block on the hosting side, but no solution as of yet. Players using a VPN can access it, though the location they have to set the VPN to varies a lot and sometimes after disabling the VPN it suddenly works.

I've seen some others mention this on the discord as well. Looks like it's a ISP side issue. Using a VPN will permit access. Worth checking your modem firewall if you're familiar with it.

Just keep in mind that Steam will not be able to work with any other Bannerlord Online account anymore if it's linked to your BO account.

There is no way to undo this. You'll have to continue using the "wrong steam account" or create a new BO account for your real steam account.

Can you share the error message you can upon crashing? I might give some hints in which direction to look for a solution.

Glad you figured it out. You should always be able to TAB out of a settlement scene and even if you crash while doing village work, you can get your money after talking to the headsman when you load back in.
