As "Overtyped" also confirmed, you need to update the game. Bannerlord Online only runs on the latest stable branch, which at the time of writing is e1.6.5.296352.

Then you will need to update Bannerlord.
In case you have Steam. Right-click Bannerlord and choose Properties. Then go to Betas and select 1.6.5



The game needs to update to e1.6.5.296352 in order for the mod to work.

If you have updated Bannerlord to the correct version and the single player launcher shows this correct version.
However Bannerlord Online continues to show an old version.

Then you have multiple installations of the game. You will need to check for that.
