My character lost his appearance since the recent crashes and updates.

While we can't restore a look that is gone from an admin perspective, you can somewhat fix this yourself.
While on the campaign map, press "V" to open the appearance editor. You can use this to change the current appearance of your character.
When you've finished and you're satisfied with it, you can press "Ctrl + C" to copy the appearance. This will effectively copy a text string such as below example.
You can save that in a text file to be use whenever you wish. This also allows you to copy appearances to other characters (including single player).
