hi,
Do you open Steam before launching the launcher? This mod is for the Steam version of the game.

Hi Dexsil,

Make sure you have Bannerlord Online installed on the same hard drive as the base game. Also check the single player launcher, if you can see BO in the mod list, the installation is successful.

If it's not in the mod list, check for duplicate installation of Bannerlord.

If it is in the mod list, check your antivirus. It may be blocking it from launching the game.

Hi, thanks, I only have one HDD so it will be installed on the same drive, looking in the game launcher mod files it isn't showing up, do I need to install the mod to a certain place in the drive?

The situation seems to imply that Bannerlord Online didn't manage to find the installation of Bannerlord.

The mod itself can be installed in any location, as long as it's the same hard drive. So there should be no problems there. However, I do suggest not installing it in the "Program Files" directory, as permissions can be tricky there. During the installation of the mod, it should add a "Bannerlord Online" folder into the Modules folder of your Bannerlord installation. (\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules)

Did you check if you have a duplicate installation of Bannerlord? This can occur for example when moving the installation to a different location.

If you have any experience with the Windows Register, I would recommend looking up the following location in the register;
!WARNING! Do not make any other changes in the registery unless you know what you're doing! !WARNING!

Computer\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-xxxxxxxx\SOFTWARE\Bannerlord Online
The xxxx part will be unique to your computer. But you should only have one entry with S-1-5-21-

If the installation went fine, that registry key should have been created and it should have one named "GameDirectory". This should contain the location to the game folder. The location will be different for you, but check what it is referring to. If it's empty, you can edit the entry and manually add the location.

If for some reason you do not have a Bannerlord Online entry under SOFTWARE in the registry, something on your computer is blocking the installation of the mod. You could try to temporarly disable the anti-virus for the duration of the installation.

Hello I have the same problem described .. I ensured it is in the Bannerlord Module subdirectory (on the same disk therefore). There is just one Bannerlord installed (in fact I reinstalled from steam a few days ago) . The BO mod does not appear on the standard launcher. I tried a VPN from HK, Israel and Brasil ... any clue (the registry stuff I haven't tried)

Given that you're saying it's not appearing on the standard launcher, it's safe to assume Bannerlord Online did not install correctly or wasn't able to find the single player installation. Once installed correctly, there should be a "BannerlordOnline" (Notice, without a space) folder inside the Modules subdirectory. The folder named "Bannerlord Online" is the one containing the launcher for BO.

You can try re-installing Bannerlord Online to see what happens.

As for the registry steps mentioned in the previous post, that entry will only appear if Bannerlord Online has been installed.

No BO in the standard launcher...
