Farming bugged?

hi,
I haven't dug in a garden in a very, very long time. And that's why I cant answer your question. I can only advise you to go to the neighboring village to cut down the forest, there you will receive many times more money. It is very easy to earn 20-50K!!!
I've seen you in the ingame chat!
But yeah, problem with that is the amount of players running around cutting trees when I'm playing, I just want a chill experience farming instead.
Besides, I don't want to select one feature, only because the other doesn't work properly. I prefer to point it out so that it hopefully gets fixed.
The amount the headman says you will get paid should be the same as he gives you. So if that's not the same, there may be a bug. I will do some testing later today.
Do keep in mind, you only get paid for the steps you've done and only if those steps were done on grain that has been turned in at the shed.

Yeah, I did all the steps from start to finish. Both times gave me the same: Headman said 5k, but only got 1800. It also said 1800 in chat.
I noticed it the first time, so had to double check in case I did something wrong, but got the same result so.
I've just done a test with 10 grain piles. The headman gave me the promised sum of 959 denars. Do you have a rough estimate of how many grain you harvest for it to say 5000?
I did about 20 each time.
I'm going to test it again and get some screenshots if it turn out the same.

lol ofc it didn't work now when I tried to replicate it.
But if counted correctly, I did about 15-20 plants each time, when it gave me weird info.
All I got is; Neocorys, happend twice within 5-ish hours, the same day I reported it here.
Both times the headman said an amount just above 5k, but then gave me the correct amount of aprox. 1800.
So money and chat info was correct, but the headman "result info" was wrong.
Sidenote; I don't want anything in game. I just wanted to report this weird "bug". Love the mod!

I remember, when I was digging beds, 900+ denars were given only for 20 or more plants!

Grind? What are you talking about? Now grind is not needed at all!
Just complete the tasks of the Chief of the Guard, (you can find a job, where he pays 25k+ for training 5 units of 4 tier), and other tasks. Trade actively in the trading chat. I earned over 20 mln. in a month!

Extremely few stick it out because of how boring everything is
Only u yourself choose ur path here. Do you want to grind? Do this. But it doesn't make any sense!
Many simply do not understand some simple things. What's the point of grinding skills, for example, if you can just earn a lot of money and buy top equipment. (For example, I upgraded 50+ polearm skill in 3 days by purchasing and using Romphalia).
