Equipment for Artisan
This guide contains all the information required to complete the quest Equipment for the artisan, available in any town. This quest can be done 5 times per hour, with the cooldown starting when you pick up the first quest.
Talk to the Artisan
Find and talk to the Artisan in any of the towns. Holding Alt while in a town will help you locate the Artisan.
Each time the mission is offered, it will randomly request 2 or 3 items. All of the possible items can be looted after defeating a stack of looters. While some of the items may also be obtained from other bandits, hideouts or even at the market, the looters are the main source for finding them. You can check your journal to see which items you have and which items you still need.
After obtaining all the information, return to the Artisan to hand in the items and collect your reward.
Cancel to find other items
After you pick up the mission and cancel it, the next time you speak to the Artisan for this mission he will ask for other items. If you're having difficulty finding a specific item, you can choose to just cancel it and pick it up again for more commonly available items.
I have unwanted items for sale
This dialog option allows you to sell looted gear to the Artisan and acts as the junk buying vendor. This can be a convenient way to make money when once you're able to carry large amounts of loot. In addition, there are Companions that have a "Junk Dealer" perk that increases the amount of money you get for selling gear to the Artisan.
