Delay Castle Update and future plans?

Hi there dear developers and community

I was wondering, when the expected realse of the castle update is anticipated. Also I was wondering, if there are plans to involve the existing AI kingdoms when the player kingdoms are introduced and therefore my next question is, when the player kingdoms are planned to release?

Sadly, there is only a roadmap for 2024 and we are already closing 2025. So there are not much informations around at the moment. I really look forward what BO could be!

There is no solid release date yet for the castle update, which will include the kingdoms update in the same update.

The devs are still hopeful to release it this year, but I feel that is way to optimistic.

They are currently still working on adjusting to v1.3.x that will be the new base game version when the Warsails DLC will drop.

In the meanwhile there should be a Halloween event soon and a Christmas event before the end of year. So there should be some content to keep people busy for the rest of the year.

When the castle update is finished, it should release on the beta server first. We'll have a much better indication for a release date when devs know they are ready for beta testing.
