how about an NPC where you can do quests to get noble troops(100-1000 denars per member of the clan owning that castle!! and 5000-7500 for players outside the holding clan).!!!! Also they should make it so you can't attack the castle whenever you want(seeing as some ppl work/sleep/have a life...
