Why can't you access Epic Games?

Bannerlord Online was having a lot of problems with people sharing game accounts and even selling their accounts.
In order to resolve that, BO is now required to link to an account that owns Bannerlord. Steam offers such security measures, however Epic Games does not do this. This made Epic Games, as well as other platforms a risk.
Steam is the only platform that allows authentication by third party software (games) to verify through encryption if the used account owns a game.
