What is there to do and how to get new gear?

I’ve done the tutorial, at a loss for what to do or how to unlock new gear? Can someone tell me what there is to do and how to get a shield different weapons etc?

That's a good question.
I feel the same way, killing looters doesn't get you anything useful. If you search the cities in the starting region, you can find other armor for a lot of gold with a little luck. Weapons I have so far no really good selection, except the farmer tools found.

I haven't even been able to buy a saddle for my horse anywhere yet.

Are there really no beginner tips or guides anywhere?

Ooo so there is better armour? A google search showed me like bannerlord multiplayer

Found a helmet with 18 armor in the Battania region and better shoes. The helmet cost 13000.
One armor was minimally better than the Imperial in the starting area, was not worth buying.
