Hey im using 2 different companions skills one of them called "Grand commander" and the second companion has a "experienced commander". so basically the one with the grand commander skills works great, but the second companion skill is not working. is it a bug or i just cant use 2 unit sized companions ?

The companion perks that have the same impact do not stack. If you have one or more companions with the same perk, only the highest perk will count.
So in your case, the experienced commander will not do anything while you have a grand commander. But the experienced commander will work fine for othrr characters that do not have any experienced or grand commander.
