The launcher won't let me play

Hello there,

When i click on play in the launcher, a pop up apear and tells me "Couldn't update game mod, check to see if the game is still in process and try to run the launcher as administrator".

the problem is, Bannerlord isn't running and i already tried running the launcher as admin, and i still get the same output.
help XD

use task manager and make sure that the game is not running in the backround. Ive had that happen all you need to do is end the task
