Welcome dear players and admins of Bannerlord Online.
This will be a long post of suggestions and ideas for future updates, you know to spice things up.

Let's jump right into it:

Smithing
Introduction

Smithing would be a massive feature to implement, but has the potential to create a massive and intriguing global market.
Imagine a system where materials to forge are buyable only in villages, with some materials spawning everywhere, and some spawning only in certain factions territories.
This would create a whole new trading system, with factions that discuss about trading agreements, as well as enemies making war to each other to gain the possibility to have that material.
Also, neutral players/clans would be able to travel in every village of Calradia, focusing on buying and delivering rare materials to the factions that more require them and making massive profits.
We would assist in the creation of entire merchant clans.
The SP unbalance of smithing (selling junky items for very high prices) it's already fixed, considering the only way to sell is to setup your own price.

Materials
As said before, not all the materials should be buyable in every village, some materials should be kept only in some faction's territory to promote trading and traveling.
The materials needed to forge items are these (with examples of possible locations):
  • Charcoal (not buyable but obtainable from Hardwood)
  • Crude iron (buyable in Imperials territories)
  • Fine steel (buyable in Aserais territories)
  • Hardwood (buyable in Battanians territories)
  • Iron (not buyable but obtainable from crude iron/iron ore)
  • Iron ore (not buyable but obtainable from crude iron/iron ore)
  • Steel (buyable in Vlandians territories)
  • Thamaskene steel (buyable in Sturgians territories)
Skill leveling
Since we want to keep the powerful items very hard to craft, the smithing skill could be developed to unlock perks that decrease the stamina required to forge an item, for example:
- Level 1 smithing: able to smelt/forge 3 materials with a full stamina usage
- Level 10 smithing: able to smelt/forge 6 materials with a full stamina usage
- Level 30 smithing: able to smelt/forge 12 materials with a full stamina usage
And so on

Leveling in smithing also unlocks new parts, just like in the Singleplayer game.

Map movement speed
Leveling Skills
Leveling Riding and Athletics skill should increase the movement speed in the map.
Each 10 levels, you get +0.1 speed.

Recruitment
New troops for recruitment

Since leveling up recruits it's a really boring task (and has to be repeated almost everyday), would be cool having the possibility to hire t2 troops from towns aswell.

Prices
- Recruit: 80
- T2 troops (both ranged and melee): 360
