Rubber banding/lag in multiplayer battles

Hi hoping someone can help me.

Was really enjoying the game and it plays well (new PC), but when I'm in a battle with friends or others with their own armies, I rubber band and my weapon can take a few seconds to register I've let go of the mouse.
What this means is I can't really kill anything (although this is not the case in arena or just me vs AI).

Is there anything I can do to fix this? It makes the mod feel unplayable because I can't really do content with friends.

My download speed is around 18Mbps (2.2MB/s) and upload 0.85Mbps (0.1MB/s). I can't get any better here.

New computer is all good and dandy - if you have an internet and you barely do. Thats some really crappy speeds my man. Due to the nature of the Bannerlord multi gameplay, I reckon it require more internet than your average 1st person shooter.
