Launcher is not up to date

I am getting the error of where the launcher is telling me that I need to update. I have reinstalled the launcher and made sure I am running 5.8 on steam. Can a dev or someone be able to post a solution to this issue?

What is 5.8? Now launcher 17.0, and the game version is 1.6.4. (e1.6.4.288289)
