I will be suggesting some ideas to implement in the following threads;
1) DUAL SYSTEM
Tired of those pesky beggars digging their holes near your soil? Why not implement a 'Dueling System', where one person presses a button (say 'u' for this excercise) and initates a duel offer.
The other person must also press 'u' and a duel will commence. If anyone dies in a duel, it is like a normal battle death, and the player will be evicted back to a city and lose their farming progress and health.
In this example, duels will give combat experience (one handed etc) but the duels will only be in civillian outfits; IE: most of the time peasants will be duelling with their fists, dressed in rags, like true medieval farmers.
Once the relationship system is implemented, dueling will give you a - 5 to -10 relationship hit with your opponent, and if you win the duel, a + 5 - +10 relationship bonus with any enemies (press N for encyclopedia) the loser of the duel has.
