Do the skills do anything?

Since I don't see multipliers, I wonder if they even matter!

I assume so, since arena fighters run at you really fast because of their athletics, and at the start a new game you don't see any tracks until you get scouting skill. Roguery, charm, steward and engineering however have no merit I believe.

save your skill points until u need to lvl something up in your character skills tree like charisma for more trading, etc. But not alot of single player specs are required/included in multiplayer.
