I've been playing for 1 month, but I earn money with the arena and cargo, I still earn less. Can someone explain how you make millions of money?

Fighting sea raiders and forest bandits, going out into the desert to fight desert bandits way down southeast, completing missions for the guard commander and getting missions from the thief in the tavern for 100 denars. Trading is also popular with some of my clan-mates but I prefer to fight personally
