We are sharing information on the next Castle Update!
We announced Castle Update in Roadmap 2024 (and hints about castle battles happened in March 2021, from where some memes you know were born).
To be perfectly honest, we want to state that we planned to release the update exactly in 2024, around December; however, we spent a significant amount of time developing the updates that came out and releasing patches. On top of all this, we are striving to achieve high-quality synchronization in Siege Mode, which is still not completed and takes up most of the development time.
We want to start the year with more details about the update, and instead of describing what we have already done (written another few tens of thousands of lines of code), we want to share the main items that will be included in Castle Update. We think you will find it very interesting!

- Fully synchronized siege battles
- Shooting from ballistas and mangonels.
- Moving ladder and ramming.
- Raising and dropping of siege ladders.
- Battles without restarting waves, with gradual reinforcements (as in single-player).
- Increasing the limit of participating players (e.g., 20x20).
- PvP siege mode (basic for capturing castles).
- PvE siege mode.
- Owning and capturing castles
- Capture a castle in two stages: siege start and hold (on the first day) and siege battle (on the second day).
- The capturing clan will take full control of the castle.
- Placement of units in the castle garrison.
- Customization of buildings in the lord's hall.
- Customization of buildings inside and outside the castle courtyard (if the map allows it).
- Collecting tribute from the region controlled by castles.
- Kingdoms
- Castle owners will be able to create their own kingdom or join an existing one.
- Diplomacy system between kingdoms.
- Village Ownership
- Attaching villages to castles and transferring control over them to a member of the clan that owns the castle.
- Receiving income from villages.
- Building objects in a village to improve its prosperity.
- New dialogue and quest system
- New quests are collected into a storyline for overall progress in the game.
- New secondary quests to level up the player.
- Possibility of cooperative playthrough of any quests that will be added in this system.
- New enemy squads on the global map
- Complete redesign of squads (everyone is tired of looters and forest bandits, right?).
- Squads with different numbers and difficulty (the farther away from the starting zone, the harder).
- New bosses on the global map!
- Retreat from PvE combat without additional loss of units.
- Global market
- Putting items on the global market, which can be accessed from any city in Calradia.
- Buying items on the global list (you will need to pick up the item from the city yourself).
- New filters and search for items on the market.
- Tax system rework
- Automatic clan tax collection and removing some of the restrictions that were added due to manual tax collection.
- New loot system
- New loot from new opponents for profitable farming.
- Displaying rewards for different activities in the encyclopedia.
- Studying and reworking horses
- Reworking their base speed.
- Reworking the effect of armor weight on a horse's speed.
- Bonuses for PvP clans.
- Personal apartment / player's house.
- New perks.

- Improved synchronization of all projectiles (arrows and throwing weapons).
- History of victories and defeats of the clan, which will be displayed in the encyclopedia window.
- Allow / Deny help in battle from unknown players.
- New balance of units
- Make units more pronounced in their specialization.
- Horse storage.
- Redesigned crafting system
- Faster crafting directly at the workshop instead of at the crafter.
- Fixing Alvor's Abuse.
- Rebalancing items to make them more profitable to craft.
- New system of unit spawning in battles

- Pre-arrangement of units (the ability to set up several presets and choose one of them before the battle).
- “Torch” bonus to cancel the penalty for night movement.
- Placement of units in the city for sale to other players.
- Convenient invitation and exit from the group.
- One-time pause activation (5 minutes) in PvP battles for each side.

- Elimination of mandatory food requirements for troops.
- Better buffs depending on the food used.
- Chat improvements
- Alliance chat.
- Create your own chat groups for easy communication.
- Display ping of players in the game (by pressing Tab).
