Can I request a gender change?

Hello and thank you for the surprisingly great mod--

When I first created my character, the game froze up and skipped right past the customization screen. I am now stuck as a male character despite being a lady. I would prefer a female avatar. Is this something that can be fixed manually, or am I stuck as a man forever?

Gender Switching is not available, the only thing you could do it make a new account or just stay as a man and edit his appearance by pressing "V" while on the world map.
