So... How do I get food for my troops?

I visited village headsmen and asked them and all they say is "-product order not available-", and in towns, I can't find anyone selling grain, olives, fish, etc......
Is it even possible to purchase food?

No food is required in this mod. Don't worry, your morale won't go down due to lack of food, but only due to defeats in battles.
