In-game rules

Be more attentive to all the rules on this server, you can get a ban / mute of any duration, everything is at the discretion of the administration, depending on the type of violation.

Failure to comply with any of the following rules may result in a ban. Not knowing the rules does not absolve you from liability for violation. The administration adheres to a zero-tolerance policy for violators of server rules.

The administration of the project reserves the right to make changes to the "In-game rules" unilaterally without notifying third parties. This is an addition to the rules for players!

In-game behaviour

1. It is forbidden to use software (any kind of cheats) or exploits/vulnerabilities in the game client/Bannerlord Online to gain advantages in the game. Violation of this rule will result in your account being blocked on the Bannerlord Online servers. If you deliberately play with players using such programs, you may also be blocked.
(List of punishable exploits: https://bannerlord-online.com/forum/index.php?threads/exploit-list.1317/)

2.It is forbidden to use bugs / glitches or any kind of other influence in-game to the detriment of other players! Including obstructing the arena, blocking passages by horses, using bugs in battles, etc.

3. It is forbidden to sell /buy/ trade / advertise any in-game items for real-life money.

4. Players are not allowed to use hard-to-reach places for abusing gameplay. Hard-to-reach places are defined as places that are nearly/or impossible for an Al to reach, clumping them together due to the hard/impossible to reach limitations it entails. Those hard-to reach places are defined as such but are not limited to: mountains, rocks, map barriers, combinations of player behavior (horse blocking...), etc.

§4.1: Exploiting those structures or lack of structure to block the path of AI

Hence: Using a Mountain to block the path of AI.

§4.2: Using an easily accessible (as a player) structure to camp and finish off an army that can't reach the player.

Hence: Enemy captains are dead. The player(s) go to a fairly high rock (easy to access with a horse or by jumping) and starts to finish off the enemy armies.

§4.3: Abuse of narrowing paths to choke the flow of enemies with a mechanic used by a player, unless a structure is eventually intended for it (door/gate/etc)

Hence : creating an artificial narrowing path for AI but interrupting the whole flow on purpose, with horses (or else).

§4.4: Abuse of an easy to access place, with a combination of player-driven action to make it a hard-to-reach/impossible one.

Hence: Camping on a pile of rocks that AI should be able to kill you from, unless you are using your horse to protect yourself and the rocks around you, making it a hard-to-reach place.

(Penalties will be issued based on replay review by the moderators or Bannerlord Online administration).

5. A player deliberately delaying battle may be subject to punishment when performing, but not limited to, one of the below actions;

§5.1: A player actively avoids all combat by maintaining a large distance, making it near impossible to attack or be attacked against an AI battle (i.e. bandits), thus making him unreachable from global map for a undetermined amount of time.

§5.2: A player who avoids any engagement except making damage to enemies, neutral horses or his own horse, in order to hang battle for more than 10min, not out-timing the battle so his mates can get into the battle

§5.3: A player taking advantage of hard-to-reach places as specified under section 4 to delay or cancel ongoing battle.

§5.4: Considering an eventual server restart/maintenance that was planned previously

§5.4.1: A server restart maintenance being planned in advance is an event that is planned at least 1hour before the said maintenance happens.
Example: A new update is released and planned for a certain day and/or hour, way in advance, and people forcing or engaging a conflict before that time to exploit the fact there won't be losses or that they would deliberately endlessly engage in a conflict out of cowardice.

§5.4.2: A server restart that is planned for the next 10 minutes but wasn't announced previously and wasn't of any kind of public knowledge falls into the category of unplanned/emergency server restarts.

§5.4.2.a: If a battle had started previously, then no matter the issue of the battle, the results would still be rollbacked and no punishments would be issued or whatsoever.

§5.4.2.b: If a battle gets started BECAUSE of that said unplanned/emergency server restart, then it falls back to the 5.4.1 where the players are abusing that said mechanic for their own benefits. The judgement about this case will be decided by the Moderating Team or the Community Manager if needs to be.

(Penalties will be issued based on replay review by the moderators or Bannerlord Online administration).
